What started as a small collection of carefully chosen knives, has now grown into a trusted source for blades from your most trusted brands that are built to last. We believe a good knife is a lifelong tool — something you reach for every day and pass down when the time comes. That belief guides everything we carry, from everyday pocket knives to gear made for the field.

Why I Started Wasatch Blade
Why start a knife shop? Wasatch Blade came about because I have always been the person who always carries a knife. In fact, I am the type of person who doesn’t go anywhere without one, whether I am going to work, the store, the outdoors, or even swimming. People are always interested when I describe how I choose a specific knife based on where I am going, what I will be doing, and what my surroundings will be. There are almost infinite combinations of size, weight, lock types, and blade steels to make a knife fit that days specific cutting needs. We truly live in the golden age of knives right now!
Over the years I realized that helping others, and even strangers, find the right knife for their needs, and avoid beginner mistakes became a satisfying hobby for me. So, I decided to take it a step further and start a business where someone can pick from a tried-and-true classic, what’s new and cutting edge, or what’s best for any specific situation or surroundings they will be in. Simply put, you can buy what works for you, and rest assured that you are only buying genuine brand name knives, never a counterfeit!
